GOT SOME ISSUES?
 
Whether your dog's behavioral problems are aggression or separation anxiety, sometimes a group class is inappropriate for your particular training need. Or perhaps you merely have a specific issue you'd like addressed, like housebreaking or pulling on leash. In these cases, a private lesson may be the way to go.
 
As opposed to a group class, you have my undivided attention in a private session. I will demonstrate training techniques with your dog and show you how to carry on the training when I'm not there.
 
I will also teach you how to understand your dog's body language and spot the signs of stress in your dog before he feels the need to react with barking or growling or worse. Being proactive is so much better than being reactive!
 
Some behavioral issues I can address include:
  • Barking

  • General Fearfulness and/or Fear Aggression
  • Territorial or Dominance Aggression
  • Resource Guarding
  • Separation Anxiety
  • Puppy Training & Socialization

RATES:
 
Rates to address most behavioral problems are:
  • Single one-hour session:  $85
  • Three-Hour Package:  $230  (Note: A Three-Hour Package may be used for three one-hour sessions, two 90-minute sessions, or one three-hour session.)

 

I also offer a special Aggression Package for $200, which includes two separate training sessions totaling 2 hours and 30 minutes.  The Aggression Package is recommended for most cases of Dog-Dog Aggression, Dog-People Aggression, and Resource Guarding.  An Aggression Package includes:

  • Consultation and evaluation of your dog, with an explanation and demonstration of the behavior modification plan, 90 minutes.
  • Follow-up session, 1 hour.

 

Packages must be paid in full during the first training session, and all subsequent sessions must be scheduled and completed within six months of the first session.

 

ADDITIONAL TRAVEL FEES:
 
Most private training sessions will be scheduled at your home, but sessions may also be scheduled at local parks or other public places, especially if that is where your behavioral problem exists.
 
However, my general traveling region extends as far north as Mill Creek, east as Redmond Ridge, and south as South Bellevue.  In Seattle, I cover NW Seattle, NE Seattle, and downtown Seattle.
 
All other areas, such as West Seattle or Duvall on the Eastside, may be subject to an additional $5 travel fee per session.
